Soil cultivation is performed by toothed discs, strung on a square shaft with cast spacers. The task of the high-alloy discs with a diameter of 560, 610 or 660 mm is to shred plant residues and manure and mix them with the soil. Discs made of boron-manganese steel ensure wear resistance and long service life. The bearings are cast housings with two bearings each and double sealing.
